Northland’s whānau-centred house moving company
Since the beginning in 2017, TR Building Removals has been whānau owned and operated, and we’re based in Hikurangi near Whangārei. Much more than just a Northland house moving company, we’re a closely connected whānau.
The contributions of every member of our team are deeply valued and appreciated. We invest in our team member’s growth from day one, assisting in obtaining additional licenses, qualifications, and H&S certifications plus offering comprehensive on-the-job training.
Our friendly team of skilled professionals includes highly trained house movers and heavy haulage specialists, Licenced Building Practitioners, and administration staff who bring together a wide range of expertise.

We are clean and tidy, making sure the re-sited building has minimal damage and we are responsive and professional. When working with us, you can always count on prompt service and easy communication. We’re here to make things as easy as can be.
Supporting Māori interests
Providing for Māori communities is important to us. We proudly partner with Kainga Ora, He Korowai Trust, and whānau who are looking for a cost-effective way to bring their homes back to the whenua. We also strongly support the development of Te Ao Māori papakāinga communities, usually on whenua Māori, for whānau who whakapapa to the land.
